*SPECTACULAR CASED & ENGRAVED GRIZZLY MODEL MIKKENGER ARMS TEXAS SESQUICENTENNIAL SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER. Cal. 44 Mag. SN 5052. Satin chrome finish with 7-1/2” solid rib bbl with recessed muzzle, yellow insert ramp front sight with adjustable rear sight. Mounted with smooth, 2-pc mesquite wood grips. Frame, cyl & sides of bbl are very nicely engraved with foliate arabesque patterns executed with a very fine touch, all with punch dot background. Rear half of cyl has a line geometric pattern in two panels, front & back of the cyl stop notches. Sides of top strap have diamond & dot patterns which is also found on butt strap, forward sides of frame and in gullet of the ejector rod housing. Top of backstrap is engraved with the outline of the State of Texas & the backstrap is engraved “1836 TEXAS 1986”. Accompanied by its orig red felt lined, pecan wood (Texas State Tree) case, French fitted in bottom for revolver & an oval covered empty recess. CONDITION: Revolver is extremely fine plus, appears new & unfired. Retains virtually all of its fine orig satin finish.
