MONUMENTAL DAUM NANCY MUSHROOM VASE. Monumental Daum vase has bulbous body with cameo decoration of various types and colors of mushrooms. Underside of mushrooms are wheelcarved for detail and beautifully enameled in browns, oranges and greens. Cameo decoration is set against a mottled yellow shading to cream colored background which extends up the long slender neck. Top of the neck is decorated with cameo pine cones with pine needles falling down along the side of the neck. Neck is finished with an acid, deeply textured background. Signed on the underside with engraved “Daum Nancy” with cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 25″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-65555 (15,000-20,000)
