Including two deep dishes on a persimmon ground with six-character mark of Chenghua (1465-1487), out of period, decorated with a wide border of children at play centering a rondel of Buddha with children, a champleve enameled and brass bottle vase, a small Japanese cloisonne on foil cabinet vase, a small Satsuma cabinet vase decorated with women in kimonos beneath flowering branches, a miniature Satsuma teapot and a small champleve enameled bowl on matching stand set with coral and turquoise stones. SIZE: Plates: 10-3/4″ dia.; Bottle vase: 9″ h.; Foil vase: 3-1/2″ h.; Satsuma vase 3-1/2″ h.; Teapot: 1-1/2″ h.; Overall bowl on stand: 2-3/4″ h. overall. PROVENANCE: From an Ellsworth, Maine Estate.
