FIGURE C JULES STEINER BEBE. Cute cabinet size doll incised “Steiner Paris Fre C4” with protruding upper lip, blue glass stationary eyes, well painted lashes and one stroke eyebrows. On the original fully jointed body with straight wrists and stamped on the torso in blue “Le Petit Parisien BEBE STEINER”. She is beautifully attired in an antique pleated salmon brocade dress with pleated printed silk center panel and lace over burgundy gauze collar and back top of dress. Shoes are antique pale brown leather and she wears a soft blond mohair wig over original Steiner cardboard pate. Completing outfit is a spectacular wide brimmed floppy hat made of felt and silk ribbons. SIZE: 11-1/2″ (29cm). CONDITION: Very good. 1-11349 (5,500-6,500)
