*DESIRABLE WINCHESTER 101 3 BARREL SKEET SET WITH CASE. SN K228685. Cal. 20ga, 28ga & .410, 28″ bbls with checkered vent rib, dual brass sighting beads, SKEET chokes, 2-3/4″ chambers for 20 & 28 and 2-1/2″ for .410, ejectors and single selective trigger. Left side of bbls are marked “MODEL 101 – WINCHESTER (GAUGE & CHAMBER LENGTH) / MADE IN JAPAN” and right side marked “WINCHESTER / NEW HAVEN, CONN.” Receiver has bold open foliate scrolls and marked on bottom “OLIN KODENSHA / CO. LTD”. Mounted with nicely figured straight-grain walnut, side panels, checkered pistol grip, sculpted metal grip cap, Winchester hard rubber buttplate, and checkered, fluted forends for each bbl set. 20ga Bore Measurements: Bore diameter: top -.614, bottom -.615. Bore restrictions: top -.001, bottom -.001. Wall thickness: top -.034, bottom -.029. Drop at heel: 2-5/8″, drop at comb:1-5/8″ . Weight: 6lbs. 15oz. Accompanied with a brown leatherette case with maroon interior. CONDITION: Extremely fine. All bbl sets retain 98% orig blue with just a couple minor handling marks. Receiver retains 98% orig blue with some very faint brightening on sharp edges. Trigger guard retains most of its orig blue, lightly starting to thin in grip area. Stock is sound with sharp, crisp checkering, some minor handling marks, a shallow 1″ by 1/4″ bruise on right side of comb retaining virtually all of its orig finish. All forends are sound with sharp, crisp checkering, a few minor handling marks and retain their orig finish. Mechanics are crisp with non-automatic safety, mechanical trigger, strong ejectors and bright shiny bores, as gun has seen minimal use. Case is in excellent condition. 4-40870 BDT138 (2,000-3,000)
