QUACKENBUSH SAFETY CARTRIDGE RIFLE.

QUACKENBUSH SAFETY CARTRIDGE RIFLE. Cal. 22. SN 823. Nickel finish with case hardened breechblock. It has a 21-3/4″ rnd bbl with fixed sights and is mounted on flat side, solid nickeled iron frame and has a delicate straight grip walnut stock with nickeled crescent buttplate. It has usual markings on the left side of the frame and retains the orig take down knob. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Overall retains 95-96% strong bright orig nickel with some minor freckling and very minor losses on the bottom edge. Breechblock is a dark blue/brown patina with one battered screw. Stock has a grain check at the heel, otherwise is sound and retains most of an old refinish. Bore is worn and dark. 4-53765 JR40 (350-500)
