*WINCHESTER DELUXE MODEL 21 2-BBL SET. Cal 16 ga SN 18374. Wonderful engraved shotgun with usual boxlock receiver with three game scene vignettes having a pheasant on the left, partridge on the right, a retrieving setter on the floorplate and a standing setter on the trigger bow, all surrounded with about 60% coverage arabesque patterns. Bbls are 26” choked WS1 and WS2 and 28” choked IMP-MOD/MOD with matted ribs and ejectors. It has one beavertail forearm and checkered straight grip with checkered side panels, single trigger, 13-1/2” over a checkered butt with an oval toeplate engraved with a large S. Accompanied by a Browning round corner 2-bbl case. CONDITION: Good, plus. Mechanically sound with the bbls retaining 85-90% thinning blue. Left bbl on the 28” set has an area of chemical spotting about 6” from the breech end. Receiver is a silver metal color with a series of small scratched on the floorplate, otherwise smooth and clean showing moderate to heavy wear. Stock is sound showing much wear and retains a smooth, hand rubbed patina. Forearm has a series of chips and is missing a 1” x 3/16” splinter from the left side, has two cracks on the right side and shows heavy wear with a smooth hand rubbed patina. All the bores are excellent, bright and shiny with some minor plastic deposits. 4-50444 JR390 (5,000-7,000)
