*ANSLEY H. FOX STERLINGWORTH DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. SN 260036. Fine field grade dbl with 26″ bbls choked CYL/CYL with tapered concave matted rib, sgl bead, extractor & dbl triggers. Receiver has “STERLINGWORTH” on each side & has light border pattern engraving. Mounted with straight grain American walnut with flat checkered splinter forearm & semi-pistol grip stock, 14-1/8″ over a serrated hard rubber buttplate. Drop at heel: 3″, drop at comb: 1-15/16″. Bore restrictions: left – .004, right – .007. Wall thickness: left – .026, right – .024. Bore diameter: left – .621, right – .621. Weight: 5 lbs. 11.84 oz. CONDITION: Good to very good. Bbls retain about 90% of an old restored blue finish with scattered spots of deep pitting. Receiver retains traces of case colors in sheltered areas with balance turned silver. Stock has a couple of hairlines back of top tang & another on each side by receiver with some dark oil staining around rear end of forearm & around receiver and retains most of an old refinish.
