*DELUXE TAKEDOWN LIGHTWEIGHT WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 30 WCF (30-30). SN 608062. Fine deluxe rifle with 22″ tapered lightweight bbl, pedestal front sight with ivory bead and semi-buckhorn rear sight. It has 2/3 magazine and highly figured flame grain wood, “H” style checkered forearm and capped pistol grip stock with Winchester hard rubber shotgun buttplate. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl retains 75-80% dull orig blue with a thinned area near the muzzle. Receiver retains 25-30% thin orig blue with the balance a light brown patina. Lever has traces of case colors in the sheltered areas and the hammer dark case colors. Stock has a hairline at the top tang, otherwise the wood is sound showing heavy use with several nicks, dings & scratches and a bruise or two and retains 85-90% crackled varnish. Mechanics are fine.
