*WINCHESTER MODEL 12 SOLID RIB, SKEET GUN. SN 819485. Cal. 20 ga. 26″ bbl, matted solid rib, red Bradley front and silver center sighting bead, 2-3/4″ chamber, WS1 choke. Left side of bbl marked “WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL-MADE IN U.S.A./WINCHESTER/TRADEMARK-MODEL 12-20GA.” with “2-3/4 CHAM.” and “WS1” below, as well as a patent stamp. Right side of bbl “MADE IN U.S.A. WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN.CONN. PAT. JULY 21.1896./FEB.22.JUNE 14.1898.SEPT.7.1909.MAY 17.24.31.JUNE 7.14.28.JULY 5.12.1910.JULY 22.1913.” Standard receiver, serrated top center and matted top and “SKEET” marked on bottom below SN. Mounted with nicely figured straight grain walnut, checkered pistol grip, Winchester hard rubber grip cap, Winchester hard rubber buttplate, skeet beavertail forend with checkered side panels and checkered diamond on bottom. Bore diameter: -.615. Bore restrictions: -(.013). Wall thickness: -.047. Drop at heel: 2-5/8″, drop at comb: 1-5/16″. Weight: 6lbs. 12oz. LOP 14-1/16″. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbl retains 97-98% orig blue with a few minor fine scratches, a faint rub mark on bottom from take down, and a couple small handling marks. Mag tube retains much of its orig blue with a few minor scratches and rub marks from forend. Bbl extension shows most of its orig blue silvering on sharp edge and just starting to thin across bottom. Receiver retains most of its orig blue with a few minor nicks & scratches starting to silver on sharp edges and a mind nick on left side from assembly. Stock is sound with good checkering, normal nicks & small handling marks, a minor small ding in grip area, a couple small spots of flaked finish, retains orig finish with some minor hand worn patina in grip area. Forend is sound with good checkering, a few minor handling marks, a couple small flaked spots of finish, but retains most of its orig finish.
