20″ PARIAN WITH FANCY MOLDED DECORATIONS. Rare and elaborate Parian shoulder head doll circa 1870, with cafe au lait hair, with pierced ears, blue painted eyes and a “ribbon candy” multi-colored bow in hair with glazed porcelain ruffled collar with gold bead edging with painted pink luster decoration simulating edging of blouse. She is on a replaced cloth body with porcelain lower limbs and molded boots and has been redressed in a pink silk satin 2 piece dress which is well coordinating with the pink luster decoration on the shoulder. SIZE: 20″ (51cm). CONDITION: Excellent with no damage or restoration to ribbon in hair and almost no roughness to collar’s edge. 1-9186 (800-1,200)
