*WINCHESTER MODEL 65 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 32 WCF (32-20). SN 1006745. Standard grade rifle with 22″ tapered rnd bbl, ramp front sight with hood and semi-buckhorn rear sight. It has uncheckered wood with semi-beavertail forearm and semi-pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine to extremely fine. Bbl retains about 98% strong bright orig blue. Forend cap blue has turned dull. Receiver retains 97-98% strong bright orig blue and the lever retains about 80% blue with the balance flaked to a dull patina. Hammer retains about 95% blue. Wood is sound with light handling & use dings & scratches, a series of small chatter marks & light bruises on the right side of the stock & forearm. There is a deeper bruise on the left side. Overall retains about 95% strong orig varnish. Crisp mechanics, brilliant shiny bore. 4-54911 JR205 (2,500-4,000)
