LOVELY “CIRCLE/DOT” BRU BEBE. Head marked in back simply with the circle and dot trademark, however shoulder plate is fully marked “Bru Jne 7”. She has lovely blue paperweight eyes and an open/closed mouth with two molded upper teeth. She has the transitional body in the sense that the torso is all gusseted leather, but the arms are kid over wood upper arms with separately hinged bisque forearms that appear to have no damage or restoration. Inside of the head has a slight mold split but is only on the interior and does go through to the outer side. Her gauze undergarments appear original and she wears a beautifully tailored pale green two piece silk dress with pleated skirt, fringe sleeves, silk buttons and multi-colored braid trim decorations. In addition, she has an original dark blond antique mohair wig over original cork pate and her shoes are antique white leather but not marked Bru shoes. SIZE: 20-1/2″ (52cm). CONDITION: Very good with some typical wear and discoloration to leather body. 1-11422 (10,000-15,000)
