FOGERTY PATENT MODEL. 24-3/4″ oct bbl. Engraved in script “V. Fogerty” on the dummy lockplate. There are no other markings. The action and lockplate are gold washed brass. There are no internal parts for the lock. The loading gate in the German silver buttplate has a very weak spring. The patent for which is a model has not been identified but is probably his original patent 21 February 1865. CONDITION: Fine with 80% of the original finish. The action is a little sticky.
