18″ FRENCH PAPIER MACHE SHOULDER HEAD DOLL. 1870s era doll with molded and painted features with a black painted pate underneath the brown human hair wig, mounted on the original narrow waist, firm leather body with straight legs, she has been well redressed in a green and black printed skirt with black taffeta jacket with white ribbon edging and wear a white cotton bonnet which ties under the chin. SIZE: 18″ (46cm). CONDITION: Overall good with some wear to hands and with slight paint touch-up to cheeks and nose tip. 1-9307 (800-1,200)
