SMITH & WESSON NEW MODEL #3 SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER. Cal. 44 Russian. SN 31547. Blue finish with 6-1/2” keyhole bbl, half moon front sight with 2-pc S&W embossed hard rubber grips numbered to this revolver. Left side of grip frame, at heel under grip, is stamped with a small diamond indicating a pre-war factory refinish. CONDITION: Very fine, all matching including grips. Retains virtually all of this spectacular factory restoration with only a faint cyl line. Triggerguard retains virtually all of its bright case colors and hammer about 85% bright case colors. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bore. Grips show light wear. 4-30704 JR417 (2,500-3,500)
