TIFFANY STUDIOS POPPY TABLE LAMP. Exceptionally beautiful fiery orange sunset poppy shade has multiple poppies in various stages of bloom in colors of orange, red and yellow. Glass used in the poppies is striated and mottled glass. The poppies rest on a heavily mottled purple, lavender and spring green glass. Top and bottom of shade are finished in a molten blue mottled glass usually reserved for Tiffany windows. Shade ends with a filigree overlay on the interior and exterior of the shade. This is a stunning example of a Tiffany Studios 20″ Poppy table lamp. Signed on the edge of the shade “Tiffany Studios New York 1531”. Shade is supported by simple art nouveau style base with slender stem, round foot, three sockets, riser, wheel and original top cap. Base is signed on the underside “Tiffany Studios New York 534”. SIZE: Shade is 20″ dia. Lamp is 25″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent with very few tight hairlines commensurate with age. Base has original patina finish with areas of oxidation, but overall very good to excellent. 5-62249 (30,000-40,000)
