LARGE KESTNER CHILD DOLL. Bisque head is incised “made in Germany O 1/2 18 1/2 142”. This larger than life child has brown sleep eyes, upper and lower painted lashes, raised and enameled eyebrows, open mouth with four upper teeth, and on her original fully jointed wood and composition body. She is dressed in a pale brown linen child’s dress with embroidered decoration, an antique long brown human hair wig with bangs over a plaster pate, and wearing brown leather children’s shoes. She also wears an antique lambs wool children’s hat with brown silk ribbons. SIZE: 35-1/2″ (90 cm). CONDITION: Bisque head excellent, missing left index finger, and some repainting to the lower arms. 1-8052 (2,000-2,800)
