*WINCHESTER SPECIAL ORDER DELUXE TAKE DOWN LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 32 WCF (32-20). SN560558. Fine special order rifle with 24-1/4″ oct bbl, half magazine, silver bead front sight and flat top rear sight with Lyman tang sight. It has very nicely figured American walnut wood with “I” style checkering on the forearm and capped pistol grip stock that has crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Bbl retains 95-96% strong bright orig blue with light muzzle edge wear and a small nick or two on the sharp edges of the bbl. Receiver retains about 80% orig blue, strong & bright on the right side, lightly cleaned on the left side, thin on the top & bottoms. Take down ring retains 30-35% thin blue. Lever retains 25-30% case colors under old dried oil and the hammer about 80% strong case colors under old dried oil. Stock has a hairline by the grip cap and another on the left side of the wrist, otherwise the wood is sound with the forearm showing moderate to heavy wear, a few light bruises and a medium dark oiled finish. Buttstock has usual scattered nicks & scratches with a couple of small bruises and a scrape or two and retains about 90% orig varnish. Good mechanics, crisp shiny bore. 4-54894 JR182 (4,500-6,000)
