LOT OF FOUR WWII DRESS DAGGERS. 1) Japanese Army dagger with 8-1/4” tanto shaped blade with full length fuller, “S” shaped brass handguard with ray skin handle wrap with braided wire and a mum on each side. The pommel cap is gold washed brass with a mum and leaves. No scabbard. –Fine to very fine. Blade retains about 50% of its nickel finish and the fittings most of their gold wash. Handle is fine. 2) First type Luftwaffe dress dagger, 12” dbl edged blade with drooped wing hand guard & wire wrapped handle with copper swastikas on the hand guard & pommel cap, with its original blue leather & aluminum sheath & chain hanger. The blade is marked “Ernst Pack & Sonne” with “Siegfried Waffen” above & below the trademark. –Fine to very fine. 85% blade, traces of silver on the hand guard & pommel. Fine scabbard. 3) Puma Luftwaffe Type II dagger with Luftwaffe eagle on the hand guard, yellow handle with braided wire and swastika pommel cap, with its original aluminum colored pebble finished sheath. –50% blade, has been cleaned, fine fittings, handle with a couple of hairlines & a chip with broken wire. Good scabbard. 4) Nazi Army dagger with national eagle hand guard, unmarked blade, gold washed fittings, yellow handle, missing its wire wrap, with pebble grain gold wash sheath. –75% blade with rust spots, traces of gold wash on fittings & sheath.
