Left side of bbl is marked “WINCHESTER / PROOF STEEL – MODEL 42 – WINCHESTER / TRADEMARK – .410 – 3IN.” “SKEET” adjacent receiver ring. Right side marked “MADE IN U.S.A. WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. / NEW HAVEN CONN. – PATENT PENDING”. WP proof marks are found top center of bbl at receiver ring and adjacent receiver. Standard receiver with serrated concave top mounted with straight grain walnut, checkered straight grip, Winchester hard rubber buttplate, skeet forend with checkered side panels. Bore measurements are NA. Drop at heel: 2-1/4″, Drop at comb: 1-1/2″, Weight: 5lbs. 14oz., LOP 13-7/8″. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbl retains 97-98% orig blue with a couple small handling marks and faint rub line from forend. Receiver retains 98% of its factory rust blue with a few minor scratches and just starting to silver on sharp edges. Stock is sound with sharp checkering, some minor nicks & scratches and retains its orig finish. Forend is sound with sharp checkering, some minor nicks & scratches and retains orig finish.
