18″ STEINER GIGOTEUR. The flange bisque neck head is unmarked with solid dome, open mouth with two rows of tiny teeth, small blue glass stationary eyes, nice mauve shading on cheeks and upper eye lids. When the key wind mechanism in the torso is wound, the legs go up and down, as do the arms and the head moves from side to side as she cries “Mama”. She is appropriately dressed in a pale yellow silk with elaborate lace trim, an antique long brown human hair wig, well coordinated bonnet and antique black oil cloth shoes, impressed “2” on the soles. SIZE: 18″ (46cm).
