TIFFANY STUDIOS ARROWROOT TABLE LAMP. Artistically rendering the life-cycle of the tapioca-bearing Arrowroot plant, this shade’s focal band is comprised of spring green glass panels, mottled with darker green and white and shaped together as a stylistic rendering of the root formation. Between and below each root are brilliant white flowers with yellow centers; the flower of the arrowroot plant. Finishing the shade are geometric bands to top and bottom rims and when the glass is properly illuminated, the shade virtually dances with the life it depicts. Shade is supported by a rare cattail design base with wide lily pad foot and cattails surrounding the body. Base supports a shade ring as well as a three socket cluster. Shade is signed with small tag “Tiffany Studios New York”. Accompanying the lamp is a letter of authentication from Paul Crist Studios. SIZE: Shade is 20″ dia. Lamp is 29″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent with very few if any tight hairlines. Base is very good to excellent with replaced burner and three socket cluster and top cap. While the lamp carries an original patina, small areas have been enhanced. 5-62420 (80,000-100,000)
