COLT MODEL 1878 DBL ACTION FRONTIER REVOLVER. Cal. 45 Colt. SN 32638. Nickel finish with 7-1/2″ bbl and 2-pc pearl grips with a lanyard loop in the butt. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Overall retains 75-80% orig nickel with areas of flaking and lost nickel with the exposed areas a dark patina. Cylinder pin head is battered. Grips have a chip on the left bottom, otherwise are fine with lots of fire. Mechanics need attention, will not hold at safety or half cock. Strong bright bore with scattered spots of pitting. 4-54940 (2,250-2,750)
