16-1/2″ RARE KLEY & HAHN CHARACTER CHILD. Seldom found character circa 1910 with head incised “K&H 549 4 Germany”. She has blue glass sleep eyes, painted upper and lower lashed with so-called fly-away eyebrows, closed slightly smiling mouth with deep dimples in cheeks and chin. She is on her original fully jointed body with excellent original patina and is wearing an antique white cotton dress, underwear and antique brown leather shoes, as well as golden blond mohair wig. SIZE: 16-1/2″ (42cm). CONDITION: Good, faint hairline crack in the back of the head. 1-9173 (1,800-2,500)
