CASED “NIMSCHKE” ENGRAVED & SIGNED SMITH & WESSON MODEL 1-1/2 NEW MODEL SPUR TRIGGER REVOLVER. Cal. 32 RF. SN 114732. Nickel finish with 3-1/2” keyhole bbl, usual markings on top rib with half moon front sight & spectacular birdhead, 2-pc pearl grips that are numbered on inside “114703”. These are undoubtedly factory grips and fit perfectly. It has about 60% coverage, fine, intertwined foliate arabesque engraving with punch dot background by L.D. Nimschke and signed “L.D.N” on toe of front strap and with a small “N” inside face of bbl lug. Accompanied by an orig M.W. Robinson, red wool lined, distributor’s case, compartmented in bottom for revolver, a scarce box of UMC 32 short No. 2 rimfire cartridges with orange label and a picture of this exact model of revolver. There are five loose rds in another compartment. CONDITION: New & unfired, all matching. Retains all of its orig factory nickel on revolver and brilliant case colors on hammer. Grips are spectacular with a tiny chip at right side near the frame, otherwise are near perfect with tremendous fire & color. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bore. Case has light storage nicks & scratches with no cracks or grain checks. Interior is lightly faded with some mothing in lid and a spot or two in bottom with some light soil in bottom.
