REMINGTON MODEL 1875 SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER. Cal. 44 WCF (44-40). SN 51. Nickel finish with bbl reduced to 5-11/16″ with a soldered on front sight and 2-pc walnut grips. CONDITION: Very good. Overall retains 75-80% milky orig nickel with the worn areas flaked to a light patina. Grips have chipped toes and appear to have been sanded & have an oil finish. Mechanics need attention, will not hold on safety notch or half cock. Strong dark bore. From the collection of the late Bruce McDowell. 4-54679 JR626 (1,250-1,750)
