*PARKER AHE GRADE DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 410. SN 242054. Built on a OOO frame with 26″ bbls choked MOD/IMP-CYL with tapered concave matted rib, dbl ivory beads, doll’s head extension, ejectors & Parker sgl selective trigger. This shotgun has been upgraded from a lower grade to its current A grade configuration, probably by Del Grego, as the initials “LDG” & the date “3-12-81″ appear in the channel under the trigger guard tang. Receiver has full coverage fine foliate & floral arabesque pattern engraving with vignette of three quail on left side, three woodcock on right side & a spaniel retrieving a quail on trigger plate. Trigger bow has a small vignette of two flying quail. Fences have the correct sgl large raised scallop along back edge. Mounted with beautiful highly figured American walnut with fleur-de-lis carved & checkered beavertail forearm & straight stock with raised carved fleur-de-lis side panels, 14-1/8″ over a skeleton buttplate. It is accompanied by a billhead receipt from Jaqua’s Fine Guns of Findlay, Ohio listing this shotgun as having been purchased by Mr. Dennis on 4-18-03 for $14,750.00 plus tax. Drop at the heel: 2-1/4″, drop at the comb: 1-1/8”. Bore diameter: left – .400, right – .408. Weight: 6 lbs. 2.88 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Retains virtually all of its fine custom finish to both metal & wood. Case colors are bright with strong dark blue & crisp varnish.
