1903 HILDA CLARK OVAL TIN SIGN. Very rare and desirable early sign featuring Hilda Clark, the famous Prima Donna. Clark exemplifies Victorian beauty, exuding an air of elegance and style, reminiscent of turn of the century Coke advertising. With a gold border of white and purple chrysanthemums, the sign is displayed in elaborate gessoed gilt frame. Chas. W. Shonk lithographer. SIZE: Image size 20″ x 16 1/2″. CONDITION: There are three or four minor areas of paint chipping on the face of the piece which do not detract from this fantastic image. Minor touch ups with only the slightest of fading.
