BEBE JUMEAU NO. 9 W/OB. A classic example of the Jumeau firm importing German heads and to be merchandised as Bebe Jumeau dolls. Rear of head is incised “DEP 9” and rubber stamped “Tete Jumeau”. This young lady is on a composition fully jointed marked Jumeau body. She retains her original clothing, wig, earrings and has on white leather boots impressed with an “8” on the sole. Open mouth with blue glass sleep eyes and fine pale bisque further add to her appeal. SIZE: 21″ t. CONDITION: As typical with later Jumeau bodies there is some flaking to lower arms. Faint hairline on forehead and tiny eye chips to lower right eyelid. 1-9175 (800-1,200)
