Cal 20 ga., 26″ bbls, matted tapered vent rib, red Bradley font and ivory center sighting beads, MOD/MOD choke, 2-3/4″ chamber, ejectors and sgl selective trigger. Bbls marked on left side “WINCHESTER-20 GAUGE/2-3/4″ CHAM.” Standard frame mounted with nicely figured walnut, checkered pistol grip, checkered butt, initial oval engraved “RHG”, checkered beavertail forend. Bore diameter: left -.613, right -.613. Bore restrictions: left -.008, right -.002. Wall thickness: left -.041, right -.038. Drop at heel: 2-3/8″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 7lbs. 1oz. LOP 14″. Accompanied with Cody Firearms Museum Fact Sheet, identifying as a gun shipped 5-3-1940 to Marshall Fields Co., with regular finish stock, 14″ LOP, drop at heel: 2-3/8, drop at comb: 1-1/2″, weighing 7lbs. No other information was provided. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain 85-90% orig blue with minor muzzle wear, a few light scratches, rubbing on bottom from forend and some thinning in chamber area. Frame retains 90% orig blue with thinning on sharp edges and across bottom, a few minor scratches. Trigger plate has toned a blue/brown color. Stock is sound with good checkering, normal nicks, dings & small scratches,and retains much of its orig varnish finish with a small oval cleaned area on left side at comb, some flaking at butt and blending with hand worn patina through grip area. Forend is sound with good checkering, some minor nicks & dings and retains most of its orig varnish finish blended with some hand worn patina across bottom.
