LARGE NODDING POLAR BEAR AUTOMATON. Charming appeal in this oversized mohair covered Bear featuring Nodding Head, counterbalanced opening mouth and glass eyes. Opened mouth reveals articulated teeth and tongue. Excellent counterbalancing and weight of bears head make for an extended nodding motion. Bear stands on molded papier mache “Iceberg” covered with small mica flecks giving a “glitter” effect. SIZE: Bear 11″ tall, overall 21″ tall. CONDITION: Windup mechanism for movement is not engaging. A tap on head still activates all motions. Toy is in otherwise good to very good condition. 1-26837 (5,000-6,000)
