*WINCHESTER MODEL 21 FIELD GRADE SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 11266. Cal. 16 ga. 28″ bbls, matted tapered concave rib, dual ivory sighting beads, MOD/FULL choke, ejectors & sgl selective trigger. Left side of bbl is marked “WINCHESTER-16 GAUGE/2-3/4″ CHAM.” Standard receiver mounted with nicely walnut, checkered pistol grip, Winchester hard rubber buttplate, checkered splinter forend. Bore diameter: left -.670, right -.670. Bore restrictions: left -.013, right -.003. Wall thickness: left -.040, right -.040. Drop at heel: 2-1/2″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 6lbs. 13oz. LOP 14″. Accompanied with Cody Firearms Museum Fact sheet, identified as standard grade, 16 ga., 28″ bbls, MOD/FULL choke, sgl trigger, selective ejectors, auto-safety, pistol grip, hard rubber buttplate, 14″ LOP, 2-1/2″ drop at heel, 1-1/2″ at comb, finished 8-31-48. Under other remarks: chamber ok with salvage gage (sic.). CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbls retain most of its factory blue with some very minor muzzle wear, a few tiny nicks & scratches, a short thin rub mark on right bbl, and some minor thinning at chamber area. Receiver retains most of its factory blue with some minor thinning on sharp edges and some flaking blending with brown patina on trigger plate. Stock is sound with good checkering, some minor handling marks & tiny nicks & dings, and retains most of its factory finish. Forend is sound with good checkering, some minor nicks & dings, and retains most of its factory finish.
