UNUSUAL CABINET SIZED FRENCH BEBE. Closed mouth French child incised “M 2″ with blue glass paperweight eyes, pierced ears on the original fully jointed wood and composition French body with good original finish. Beautifully dressed in what could be her original salmon pink gauze and silk dress with black trimmed sleeves and bottom of skirt. Her dark eyebrows well match her antique brown human hair wig in long ringlet curls. The boots are antique leather, but most likely slightly newer than the doll itself. She also wears an antique white gauze bonnet with high wire frame. SIZE: 12-1/2” (32cm). CONDITION: Faint hairline crack on left side of forehead near the ear. 1-9172 (1,200-1,800)
