REMINGTON MODEL 1875 SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER. Cal. 44 WCF (44-40). SN 602. Nickel finish with 7-1/2” rnd bbl, pinched post front sight & smooth 2-pc walnut grips with a lanyard stud & ring in butt. This is one of about 25,000 revolvers built in period 1875-1889 in both blue & nickel. CONDITION: Very fine. Overall retains about 95% strong, bright, orig nickel with wear at muzzle and light pitting & a few spots elsewhere on bbl & frame. Cyl retains about 90% orig nickel. Grips are fine and retain traces of orig varnish being mostly a smooth, hand worn patina. Grip screw is a replacement. Mechanics are fine, strong bore with light pitting.
