PATENT MODEL: SPARK ARRESTER BY MARKS & EATON. Original patent tag #36,619, dated Oct. 7, 1862. Retains plaque with inventors’ names. Horizontal metal drum with pierced back and opening at front, with chimney going up the middle. This all rests on two bench-type legs. SIZE: 4″ w. x 8″ t. x 3 1/4″ d. CONDITION: Much of the black paint has flaked off, small red ring has been repainted around chimney, structurally good. 1-1335 (300-500)
