*WINCHESTER MODEL 21 WITH 21-5 ENGRAVING AND CUSTOM STOCK. SN 11605. Cal 12 ga., 26″ bbls with matted tapered concave rib, white front with silver sighting beads, MOD/MOD choke, 2-3/4″ chambers, ejectors and Jurjevick sgl trigger. Bbls at chamber end have band of engraving and a 3/4″ wedge of scroll engraving. Bottom of bbls are marked “WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL” and “MOD” choke on each bbl. Receiver is engraved in a 21-5 pattern that is certainly of the quality coming from the factory. Mounted with nicely fiddle backed walnut, fleur-de-lis checkered side panels, fleur-de-lis drop point, fleur-de-lis checkered straight grip, checkered butt with skeleton buttplate, blank gold oval and fleur-de-lis checkered beavertail forend. Bore diameter: left -.727, right -.726. Bore restrictions: left -.010, right -.011. Wall thickness: left -.041, right -.040. Drop at heel: 1-7/8″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 7lbs. 6oz. LOP 14″. Accompanied with Cody Firearms Fact sheet identifying as 12 ga trap grade, 26″ bbl, MOD/MOD choke, dbl triggers, selective ejectors, auto-safety, straight grip, regular forend, trap oil finish, trap grade wood, LOP of 14-3/8″, drop at heel 2-5/8″, drop at comb 1-5/8″, weighing 7lbs 6oz, finished 7-21-37, for Kirkwood Brothers Inc. Also accompanied with black leather luggage case with red felt interior and makers label in top lid. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbls retain 95-97% of their fine factory quality blue, minor muzzle wear, normal minor nicks & dings, rub mark on bottom from forend, and light thinning at chamber end. Frame retains 95% of a fine factory quality blue, thinning in balance points and sharp edges, engraving is nice & crisp. The custom stock is sound with sharp checkering, some minor handling marks, and retains nearly all of its fine custom hand rubbed oil finish. Forend is sound with sharp checkering a few minor handling marks and retains nearly all of its fine custom hand rubbed oil finish. Exposed forend iron shows little blue and retains a brown/silver patina. Forend latch retains all of its blue. Mechanics are crisp with non-auto-safety, strong ejectors and nice shiny bores.
