*CUSTOM ENGRAVED WINCHESTER MODEL 21 SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 17681. Cal. 12ga, 28″ bbls, matted, tapered concave rib, white front and silver center sighting beads, WS1/WS2 choke, 2-3/4″ chambers, ejectors and single selective trigger. Side of left bbl is marked “MODEL 21 – WINCHESTER / TRADEMARK – 12 GAUGE 2-3/4”. Each bbl has 2″ wedge of bold foliate scroll. The step side receiver is engraved with bold foliate scrolls with punch dot background, gold duck in flight with marsh scene behind on left side, gold duck in flight on right side, gold pointer on trigger plate and gold rooster pheasant on trigger guard bow. Trigger plate below screw has factory stamping “SKEET”. The fine custom engraving is signed on lower left side “G. CARGNEL”. Mounted with nicely figured walnut, checkered straight grip, black Decelerator pad, checkered beavertail forend. Bore diameter: left -.731, right -.732. Bore restrictions: left -.012, right -(.022). Wall thickness: left -.036, right -.034. Drop at heel:2-1/4″, drop at comb:1-3/8″. Weight: 7lbs. 12oz. LOP 15″. The bbl flats, lugs, breech face, ejector face, water table, and standing breech are all finely jeweled. Accompanied with Cody Firearms Museum Winchester letter identifying as skeet grade, 12ga with 28″ bbls, choke WS1/WS2, pistol grip, beavertail, made for stock. Started inspection June 12, 1952. Completed inspection August 12, 1952. R & R September 24, 1952 #40614. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Gun appears new since upgrading. Bbls retain 99% of a factory quality restored blue finish. Receiver retains 99% of its factory quality restored blue finish. Stock is sound with sharp checkering, a few minor handling marks and retains a custom high-gloss finish. Forend is sound with sharp checkering, a few minor handling marks and retains its fine custom high-gloss finish.
