N. CURRIER (American, Publisher, 19th Century) PRINTED MEMORIAL WITH HAIR ATTACHMENT. A standard N. Currier memorial print showing a memorial stone at the front of a cemetery with a large church background with people in mourning outfits under trees. Stone has been filled in with pen inscription “Rosetta Tibbets died Oct. 26, 1857 28 years 1 month 26 days Gone but not lost”. Around the stone has been attached a woven hair wreath with black ribbon. Housed in a fine birdseye maple period frame with gold liner. SIGHT SIZE: 9-1/2” x 13-3/4”.
