KONGSBERG HARPOON OR LINE THROWING GUN. Cal. 10.15 x 61R Jarmann. SN 18364. Heavy harpoon gun built on a little known action with 19-5/8″ heavy, stepped, rnd, rifled bbl with pinched blade front sight & a simple groove in extractor for a rear sight. It has a turn bolt action with bolt handle the only locking lug. Mounted in a light colored European walnut stock with stepped, grasping groove forestock & checkered wrist with straight grip & a thick, heavy brass buttplate. Accompanied by a chamber cast & two cartridges formed from Winchester 348 brass. CONDITION: Very fine, all matching. Metal retains most of its orig dull blue with some wear & thinning over top of receiver. Trigger guard is gray metal. Stock has a hairline crack back of trigger guard, otherwise wood is sound & retains virtually all of its orig finish with minor handling & use marks. Buttplate has a green tone.
