*REMINGTON MODEL 40X REPEATING TARGET/VARMINT RIFLE. Cal. 22-250. SN 056274B. Superb target/varmint rifle with 27″ tapered, heavy, orig, stainless steel bbl made without sights. Receiver mounted with Millett bases & rings containing a Redfield 24X target scope. Mounted in very nicely figured, 1-pc, walnut stock with wide, flat-bottom forearm that has a sling rail & deep pistol grip without cheekpiece and has its orig thin Remington rubber pad. CONDITION: Extremely fine plus. Retains virtually all of its fine bright orig factory finish to both metal & wood with minor handling nicks & scratches.
