16″ FASHION DOLL ATTRIBUTED TO SIMON & HALBIG. Unmarked swivel neck bisque socket head on separate bisque shoulder plate mounted to a twill covered wooden articulated body with joints at the shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and ankles. She also has bisque lower arms which show no signs of damage or repair. Bisque head has very pale bisque with blue glass eyes, closed mouth with slight smile and with ears that are pierced into the head. Costume consists of a cobalt taffeta two-piece dress with brass buttons, gold braid decoration and dark lace band around base of skirt. Wig is a more modern mohair replacement. SIZE: 16″ h (41cm).
