*STUNNING WINCHESTER MODEL 21 CUSTOM GRADE TWO BARREL SET WITH CASE. SN W31831. Cal. 12ga, 28″ & 26″ bbls, 28″ with matted, tapered, concave rib, dual silver sighting beads, MOD/FULL choke, 2-3/4″ chambers, ejectors and single selective trigger. 26″ set with matted, tapered, concave rib, dual silver sighting beads, WS1/WS2 chokes and ejectors. Rib of both bbl sets marked “CUSTOM BUILT BY WINCHESTER FOR CHARLES PRITCHARD”. Left bbls are marked “MODEL 21 WINCHESTER 12 GAUGE 2-3/4 CHAM. / MADE IN NEW HAVEN. CONN. U.S.A.” The flat side receiver is grade 1 engraved with ornamental foliate arabesque scrolls. The water table standing breech, bbl flats, bbl lugs and inside forend iron are all beautifully jeweled. Mounted with nicely figured walnut, checkered pistol grip with sculpted metal grip cap, Winchester hard rubber buttplate, gold oval engraved “CHP”, fully checkered beavertail forends with ebony tip inserts. Bbl set one: Bore diameter: left -.727, right -.734. Bore restrictions: left -.033, right -.018. Wall thickness: left -.032, right -.029. Drop at heel:2-1/2″ , drop at comb:1-1/2″ . Box 550, New Brunswick, NJ 08903, reshipped on April 18, 1985. Also accompanying gun is a leather 2-bbl luggage case embossed on top lid n gold letters “CHP”, maroon interior with maker’s label inside top lid, Model 21 hanging tag and its canvas cover. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Appears new and test-fired only. Both bbl sets retain 99% orig blue with a couple of the faintest handling marks. Receiver retains 99% orig blue with just a tiny handling mark. Stock is sound with sharp checkering, retaining 99% orig high-gloss finish with a few minor handling marks. Forends are sound with sharp, crisp checkering, 99% orig finish with some tiny handling marks. Mechanics are crisp with automatic safety, strong ejectors, bright shiny bores in all bbls as gun appears new & test-fired only.
