*SCARCE ITHACA MODEL 7E SINGLE BARREL TRAP. SN 402002. Cal. 12 ga. 32″ bbl, checkered tapered vent rib with dual white sighting beads, FULL choke, 2-3/4″ chamber and ejector. Top of bbl at chamber has oak leaf scroll, left flat of bbl has oak leaf scroll and ribbon marked “ITHACA GUN CO.” and right side with oak leaf scroll and ribbon “ITHACA N.Y. U.S.A.”. Water table is marked with SN “7” and “12”. Receiver is engraved with relief oak leaf motif, 2 color gold ducks in flight on left side, 2 color gold pheasants on right side, 2 color gold spread eagle on bottom, and engraved “MADE IN USA” below it. Trigger guard with oak leaf scroll and bust of a bull elk. Mounted with nicely figured walnut, fleur-de-lis checkered side panels, fleur-de-lis checkered pistol grip with black hard rubber grip cap. Pachmayr red presentation recoil pad, gold initial shield, fleur-de-lis checkered beavertail forend with ebony tip insert. Bore diameter: -.731. Bore restrictions: -.035. Wall thickness: -.038. Drop at heel: 1-7/8″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 8lbs. 3oz. LOP 14-5/8″. CONDITION: Extremely fine as appears new from a probably factory restoration. Bbl retains virtually all of its fine factory quality restored blue finish with just a few minor handling marks. Receiver retains virtually all of its dark factory quality restored case color finish. Stock is sound with sharp checkering, some minor small nicks & handling marks, a little bit of crazing in finish on right side and in flute of comb on left side, but retains nearly all of its fine factory restored finish. Forend is sound with sharp checkering with a couple minor flattened points, some minor handling marks, but retains virtually all of its fine factory restored finish. Mechanics are crisp with strong ejector and bright shiny bore, as gun appears basically new since restored. 4-39720 BDT95 (8,500-12,500)
