*WINCHESTER MODEL 21 GRAND AMERICAN 2 GAUGE SET WITH CASE. SN 30621. Cal. 20/28ga, 28″ bbls, Set One: 20ga, matted vent rib with red Bradley sighting bead, 2-3/4″ chambers, WS1/WS2 chokes. Set Two: 28ga, matted vent rib, single red Bradley sighting bead, WS1/WS2 choke, 2-3/4″ chambers, all with ejectors and single selective trigger. Top rib of both bbls marked “CUSTOM BUILT BY WINCHESTER”. Left bbl on each set marked “MODEL 21 – WINCHESTER / TRADEMARK – (GAUGE) 2-3/4”. Each bbl has about 3-1/4″ wedge of scroll engraving at chamber. Bbl flats, lugs, chamber end and ejector face are all finely jeweled. Forend lugs are stamped “1” and “2”. Flat side receiver with lightening-cut water table and jeweled standing breech is engraved in Grand American style with fine foliate arabesque scrolls, oval with gold setter on left side, gold pointer on right, 2 gold pheasant on trigger plate and bust of dog in gold on trigger bow. Mounted with highly figured walnut, B carved pistol grip with fleur-de-lis, sculpted and engraved metal grip cap, center with scroll and gold inlaid “GRAND AMERICAN”, fleur-de-lis checkered butt, blank gold oval, matching beavertail forends B carved with fleur-de-lis and ebony tip insert. Set One: Bore diameter: left -.615, right -.615. Bore restrictions: left -.004, right -(.012). Wall thickness: left -.037, right -.037. Drop at heel: 2-1/2″ , drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 7lbs. 1oz. LOP 14-1/4″. Set Two: Bore diameter: left -.553, right -.552. Bore restrictions: left -.008, right -(.008). Wall thickness: left -.033, right -.031. Drop at heel: 2-1/2″, drop at comb:1-1/2″. No records were found from Cody Firearms Museum. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as new. Gun appears test-fired only since manufacture. All finishes are 99-100%. Mechanics are crisp with automatic safety, strong ejectors and bright shiny new bores, as gun appears test-fired only.
