*RARE ITHACA SOUSA MODEL SINGLE BARREL TRAP. SN 400355T. Cal. 12 ga. 32″ bbl, matted tapered vent rib with dual white sighting beads, 2-3/4″ chamber, FULL choke, ejector. Each side of rib over chamber has decorative scroll, flat side on left has decorative scroll and ribbon “ITHACA, N.Y.U.S.A.” and right side ribbon “ITHACA GUN CO.” The Knick model water table is engraved with SN, “SOUSA & 12″, its frame engraved with tight foliate scroll an oval with gold pointer on left side, circle with landing gold duck, on both an oval with gold setter on point, on right side. Trigger guard has scroll engraving and the Sousa grade gold mermaid. Mounted with flame grain walnut, sculpted checkered side panels, checkered straight grip, red Pachmayr presentation pad, gold initial shield, checkered beavertail forend with sculpted ebony tip insert. Bore diameter: -.729. Bore restrictions: -.040. Wall thickness: -.026. Drop at heel: 1-1/2″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 8lbs. 5oz. LOP 14-7/16”. CONDITION: Extremely fine as probably new from factory quality restoration. Bbl retains virtually all of its fine factory quality restored blue finish, with a couple minor scratches and minor nick on right side of rib. Receiver retains virtually all of a dark factory quality restored case colored finish. Stock is sound with sharp checkering, a couple minor handling marks and retains virtually all of a fine factory quality restored oil finsih. Forend is sound with sharp checkering, a couple flattened points on forward right side, a few minor handling marks and retains virtually all of fine factory quality restored oil finish.
