RARE 13″ BRUNO SCHMIDT CHARACTER CHILD, KNOWN AS “WENDY”. The head is incised “2033 BSW” (within a heart) “537”. This desirable doll has blue glass sleep eyes, closed mouth with protruding upper lip, dimple in chin, and is on her original fully jointed body with fine original finish. She is wearing an antique blond mohair wig, a contemporary white cotton dress, black stockings and old black leather shoes with buckles as well as an indigo and black velvet hat with burgundy silk ribbon. SIZE: 13″ (33cm). CONDITION: Excellent, minor unevenness of color near the head rim, but this is entirely covered by the wig. 1-9248 (14,000-16,000)
