OUTSTANDING INLAID SHAPED TOP TIP TOP STAND. The black lacquered top has tall vase of flower inlay surrounded by a grape and leaf vine. The inlays are done in colorful mother of pearl with gold painted highlights. The top tips as well as turns on a brass hub. The six-sided shaped post is black with gold painted highlights all supported by a stepped trifoil base with three gold painted ebonized feet resting on caster feet. PROVENANCE: Estate of Maria M. Viveiros, New Bedford, Massachusetts. SIZE: 29” h x top 27” x 22-1/2”. CONDITION: Craquelure to top, very good. 9-28769 (400-800)
