FINE LAMINATED ROSEWOOD SIDE CHAIR ATTRIBUTED TO J. AND J. MEEKS, N.Y.C. IN THE “HENRY FORD” PATTERN. Shaped cushion back has surround pierce carved frame with grapevine having leaves and grape. Top section with two large roses with plume. Outside border of scroll design with top section having small inner scrolls and decorative leaf carving. Gold brocade upholstery. Carved central seat crest with carved French style cabriole legs ending in brass caster feet. SIZE: 42-3/4” h x 16-1/2” seat h x 18” across front. CONDITION: Old minor repaired breaks to right side.
