*WINCHESTER MODEL 21 GRAND AMERICAN TWO BARREL SET WITH CASE. SN W32914. Cal. 12ga, 30″ and 32″ matted, vent rib bbls, 32″ FULL/IMP.MOD chokes, dual white sighting beads, 2-3/4″ chambers with ejectors. 30″ bbls have all the same features. Ribs of both bbls marked “CUSTOM BUILT BY WINCHESTER FOR ROBERT J. CERONE”. Left bbls are marked “MODEL 21 WINCHESTER 12 GAUGE 2-3/4 CHAM. / MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A.” Chamber area of each bbl has 3″ wedge of scroll engraving. The flat side receiver is style 6 engraved with oval with gold setter on left, gold pointer on right, circle with 2 gold pheasant on trigger plate, the balance of receiver & forend iron are a foliate arabesque scroll. Trigger guard has scroll engraving and gold initials “RJC”. Mounted with nicely figured flame-grain walnut, B carved checkered pistol grip with fleur-de-lis and ribbons, metal grip cap, scroll-engraved with gold wire border and gold inlaid “GRAND AMERICAN”, vented red Winchester recoil pad, B carved & checkered beavertail forends with fleur-de-lis and ribbons as well as ebony tip inserts. 30″ bbl set: Bore diameter: left -.728, right -.734. Bore restrictions: left -.020, right -.040. Wall thickness: left -.033, right -.028. Drop at heel:2-1/2″, drop at comb:1-5/8″ . Weight: 8lbs. 2oz. Accompanied with Cody Firearm Museum fact sheet fully identifying as Grand American 30″ & 32″ reverse choked with vent ribs, number 6 engraved with pistol grip, trap-style beavertail forends, rubber recoil pad, build for Robert J. Cerone and started on 2-5-1975 and finished 4-29-1975. Also accompanied with leather 2-bbl luggage case embossed in gold on lid “R.J.C.” Maroon interior with snap caps and oil bottle. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as gun appears test-fired only. Bbl sets retain virtually all their fine orig factory blue with just a couple minor handling marks. Receiver & trigger guard retain virtually all of their orig factory blue and bright gold figures. The water table, standing breech, bbl flats, lugs, breech face, ejector face and inside surface of forends are all finely jeweled. Wood is sound with sharp, crisp checkering, high-gloss,orig factory finish with a couple minor handling marks. Forends are sound with sharp checkering, high-gloss, orig finish with a couple minor handling marks. Mechanics are crisp with automatic safety, strong ejectors, and bright shiny bores as gun appears test-fired only.
